This module explains the major elements that are influencing the cost competitiveness of bioenergy production. Users of this module will understand how production costs, competing sources of energy, and carbon credits all influence the profitability of using woody biomass to produce bioenergy.

The Biomass Utilization module takes a closer look at the process of converting woody biomass from a raw material into bioenergy and bio-based products.
